Data Science Courses
Working with data.
The world is generating collosal volumes of data. More-and-more devices are generating more-and-more of the stuff. Processing, analysing and making sense of this data is one of the hottest fields in computing.
Our beginners courses assume no previous database or analytics experience.
All our courses are project based. We use a workspace environment rather than a classroom environment to encourage experimentation, collaboration and creativity. We won't spend a long time learning the all the theory. We will get stuck right into hands-on activity from the start, working quickly to pick up a handful of concepts that will allow us to build simple working models. This will provide a base from which more advanced concepts can be added.
Before data can be processed it must be captured and organised. Our MySQL Database Development course looks at data modelling, database implementation and data querying.
Data Science is the sexiest job of the 21st century. Allegedly. But what does it involve? In the Introduction to Data Science course we grab some data, mess around with it and produce analytics and visualisations that tell a story about that data.
We encourage you to take the projects you start in our courses further in your own time. We also encourage you to start your own projects. One-to-one Tuition is available to provide support. Our Personal Projects sessions provide a way to get a new or stalled project moving with a focussed half-day, full-day or full-weekend session.
