BitMakeLab is a system of electronic and mechanical parts, combined with quality learning materials. Aimed at all age groups, from kids aged 10+ to adults, it makes standard off-the-shelf electronic components much more easily integrated into your digital making projects.

Wheeled Robots Projects
A series of projects around wheeled robots. This is a great series of projects for newcomers to digital making. Each project introduces a few new digital making and coding skills and guides the student towards creating remote controlled and autonomous robots.

Project 1.01 - Build a Basic Robot
In this project you will make and code a basic wheeled robot.
Project 1.02 - Add Lights to your Robot
In this project you will add lights to the robot you previously made.
Project 1.03 - Add Crash Sensors to your Robot
In this project you will add some crash sensors to your robot.
Project 1.04 - Build a Remote Control Robot
In this workshop you will make a remote controller which can be used to control the robot you built in a previous workshop.
Project 1.05 - Add a Speed Control to your Remote
In this project you will add a speed control to your remote controller.
Project 1.06 - Build a Line Following Robot
In this project you will make robot that can follow a black line on the floor.
Project 1.07 - Build an Obstacle Avoiding Robot
In this project you will make a robot that moves randomly around the room avoiding crashing into walls and other obstacles in its path.
